Our Story
Founded by former NHL player Johnny Martinez in 2015
Founded in 2015 by former NHL player Johnny Martinez, SkilledHockey was born from a simple belief: every player deserves access to elite-level training, regardless of their current skill level or background.
After a successful 12-year career in professional hockey, Johnny recognized the gap between recreational hockey programs and the intensive training that creates elite players. He assembled a team of former professional players, certified coaches, and sports scientists to create a comprehensive development system.
What started as a small training facility with 20 players has grown into a premier hockey development program that has helped over 2,000 players improve their game, with many advancing to college scholarships and professional opportunities.
